Unpublish business

Description#

Makes the business invisible to clients.

Mechanism#

  1. Set Entity propertyavailable as false.
  2. Cancel any active orders the business has.
  3. Set Entity propertypublished as false.

Notes#

  • This function is highly volatile, a client could potentially be making an order at the moment the business is unpublished. It is highly recommended to only unpublish the business outside of the business's working hours and when the business is unavailable in order to minimize the risk of sabotaging client orders. If done during working hours, ask the business manager to make the business unavailable, resolve all orders and then unpublish the business, otherwise there is high risk of collateral damage.
  • There will be a warning in case:
    • The business has an active order.
    • The business is available.

  • Does nothing if the business is already unpublished.
  • An unpublished business is the safest to modify in terms of the business details and merchandise.
