Update modification

Description#

Updates an existing modification.

Input#

Same as create modification, except everything is optional.

Mechanism#

  1. Update the given data.
  2. Generate a unique identifier for the new version of all the items that use the modification that will serve as validation that order placements are valid.

Risk level#

Same as publishing.

Notes#

  • Avoid updating an item while the business is available. An unpublished item is the safest to update.
  • Items that use a previous version of the modification will not be purchasable.
